Abstract


This paper describes my recent research on Jurassic heavy oil reservoir of Hong-qian 1 area in the northwest of Zhungaer Basin by the software including Discovery、 Forword、 Cabonsoft and the RMS of Storm. Description of the formation structure feature, sedimentary micro facies and pay zone distribution feature is given based on research of the static characteristics of the reservoir with view of the characteristics of the production behavior. High resolution 3D geological model has been built from which detailed description of the distribution feature of oil, steam and water as well as that of the reservoir heterogeneity. The above research indicates the future profitable area, solves some practical problems of the oil production, proposes suitable methods and procedures for the referred block and provides facts and technical support for reservoir assessment and simulation, development strategy optimization. The research is of great significance to description of similar heavy oil reservoir that evolutes for steam injection.
