The technology of virtual reality could provide many kinds of information, such as the sense of vision, the sense of hearing and the sense of touch. The participants could interact with the virtual environment in a natural way, and could personally participate in the changing process of the event in the virtual environment, which has obtained the degree of freedom of the control and operation of the entire event. This kind of multi-dimension interactive information environment would provide the new ways for the participants to master new knowledge and skills.Virtual reality (VR) have been widely used in various area, and played an irreplaceable role in these field. Meanwhile, the emergence of VR had a tremendous impact on modern education, e.g. VR changed some old teaching ideas and models. Among these models(or ideas), multimedia teaching methods are very close to VR, thus multimedia teaching methods have high possibility to be integrated into VR.Virtual reality can provide all kinds of information, such as vision, hearing, touching, etc. the participants interact with the virtual environment in a natural way, can get into the virtual environment, feel the event, see the whole changing process. Thus he can acquire most sufficient freedom to control or operate the whole event. In this way, the participant can interact with virtual environment in many dimensions. VR can provide the participants with the most direct, most effective way to get hold of new technique or knowledge.In this paper, first of all, we present some theories and research on the multimedia courseware and virtual reality technology; also, we analyze the features of the multimedia courseware and virtual reality technology. Secondly, we analyze the feasibility of introduce VR into courseware design. Thirdly, though the artistry analysis of multimedia courseware and VR, we integrated the two aspect in theory. Furthermore, through developing the virtual reality module of the multimedia courseware, we provide further reference for relative theories, at the same time, we summarized the procedure of develop virtual reality module in multimedia courseware.Finally, we summarize the shortcoming of this paper, put forward some technique and theory problem in develop multimedia courseware with virtual reality technology.
