Abstract


This paper complete a astronomic image processing system that is easy to configured and updated, according to the designation and implement of the image processing system of the Chinese Antarctic Expedition Team’s telescope——AST3.The system mentioned in this paper completed the pipeline of processing the fits images captured by the telescope. The results can show the variable stars on the sky. It introduced the methods of the anstromical photometry. The software have completed the pre-operation of the flatting, calibration and so on. And it completed the different processing on the patterns of tracing and drift scanning, including making references and image subtraction. And do some prospect for the function and performance’s updating, including processing images by choice, processing multi-images at the same time, processing images at the same time, using RAM disk and so on.Because the production of the hardware of AST3 haven’t been done, so when developing the software system, it can’t totally determine that how the telescope runs, such as what the observe pattern and observe content is. The software system have to update according to the change of requirements happens. The design of the system meets the software design principle that is called "open and close" principle, The function modules can be reused, and can be extended without changing the existing function, combined with the characteristics of astronomical image processing software, reasonable organizing of shell scripts and executable programs. When the telescope change the observe pattern, the software can adapt to it flexibility. Different pipeline won’t make effect other. When it needs to add new function, the software can be updated facility.
