Abstract


Landscape lighting luminaire is the main luminaire which is used for decoratingthe traffic space of pedestrian area of road, the circumstance around architectures, thegreenbelts and parks of cities, the uptowns, piazzas and business streets. It plays avery important role on shaping city nighttime landscape, provides the main stage ofthe recreation life for townsmen in the night and becomes part of the daytimelandscape because of its ornamental shape at the same time.The significations and thevalues of the research which is about the characters and the application system ofLandscape luminaire are showed as follow: improving the light effect of luminaries,exerting the “lighting” function authentically, improving the qualities of materials andstructures, adapting to the all-weather changes outside and prolonging the lifetime;perfecting the shapes and meeting the landscape needs in daytime and in nighttime;adapting to the circumstance , using the luminaire rightly and addressing guidanceadvice about the lighting design of outside nighttime landscape.This paper studies thecorrelative performances of landscape luminaire systemically at the first, including itsnaming and sorting, performances and structures, analyses the lamp and theluminosity parameter in detail, and provides the technology base to appraising thequality of luminaire. Then, this paper analyses the application status quo of thelandscape luminaire in Beijing, Shenzhen and Zhengzhou etc. enumerates the mainexistent questions in detail, and then, measures some familiar landscape luminariesand makes experiments on them. At last, this paper addresses some pieces of advanceon the qualities of landscape luminaire: standardization of lamps and luminaries,vocation of lighting stylist, rationalization of luminarie choice, scientificity ofmanagement and maintenance.
