Abstract


After the Boxer Movement , under the double whammy of the grim situation at home and abroad , the Qing government campaign was started to carry out reform movement , one of the important aspects of education reform . As when the consensus Branch held until the end of the Qing Dynasty, has become the biggest obstacle to the development of modern education . Therefore, the most important education reform is the abolishment of imperial examinations \How to get rid of the negative impact of the imperial examination and use of the imperial examination positive factors to promote the development of new education , has become an important issue of the times .
