Abstract


After developing quickly for thirty years, we China is going to be the second big economy of the world in the year 2010. In the recent years, together with the fast development of national economy and the reinforcement of comprehensive national strength, RMB exchange rate maintain stability. During the Asian financial crises, the behavior of our government improved the international reputation of the RMB. Resident of the neighboring countries and regions began to use RMB as currency of settlement in the business. RMB indicates spontaneous internationalization. The internationalization of RMB is the inevitable result of China’s long-term economic growth and increased political strength, which consistent with the interests of our national development strategy.RMB internationalization means China can get an important position in the international status and have the capacity to participate world rules establishment in the international economic affairs.The capacity is the reflection of comprehensive national strength of our country.At the same time, RMB internationalization also suffered with a series of questions, such as the pressure of exchange rate, trade friction, and the inflow of hot money. At the stage,the rudimentary conditions for RMB internationalization have been ready. We must put forward necessary reform and policy measures to promote the progress of the internationalization,or it will do bad to China’s economy development.So we should give some control and indiction,and it’s necessary to research on these problems.First,the thesis begins with analysis by international currency and RMB internationalization theory.through the analysis,we get the general rule of currency internationalization.Then, the thesis discusses the situation of RMB internationalization and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of it. On that basis,the thesis brings forward the strategy of RMB internationalization and specifies it.Finally, toward the risk brought about by internationalization there are a detailed analysis and some advices.In the part,we also talk about the problem of RMB exchange rate and give a series of suggest.
