Abstract


The manufacturing capability of a country determined their competence in the competitive and cooperative global economy, meanwhile, electronic manufacturing is one of the most important part of it. With the increase of global integration getting higher and higher and the division of social work becoming more and more specialized, the requirement of professional ability in work requires Original Brand Manufacturer focusing more on its core business in order to keep their original competitiveness and letting other parts with low margin to be shared by other professional Electronic Manufacturing Service factory. In this development trend, China takes advantage of her low-cost work force and increasing consumer market to become the biggest manufacturing center of the world. Now China becomes a biggest manufacturing center of the world but it is still a long way to be a great power in the manufacturing area. The development of business management, especially the project management, is far behind the growth of the business, which urges us to improve.In this article, we analyzed the application of project management theory in improving first-pass yield in a company. The project management application in this company makes it operates with higher efficiency, faster reaction and quicker executive ability.Based on the actual situation of home and abroad existing electronic manufacturer on whether they need to apply project management on its operation, and how to use this theory effectively. This article describes the situation of a company which needs to run a project and the way to apply project management in this company, and determines the application of project management in electronic manufacturer to be feasible. Through the application of project management in Company J, we have summarized what we have achieved and what we are not satisfied on the application, and how to keep the good work, solve the disadvantage and continuously improve in further application.
