Ecotourism is a new kind of travel which can meet people’s need to return to, to understand, and to experience the nature. It’s also an important way to adjust the industrial structure, speed up economic development and rich the masses. With the promote of building well-off society, and the continuous improvement of the people’s living standards, significant changes are taking places in the social consumer market and the industrial structure. The demand of the traveling market has significant upgraded, and the ecotourism is burgeoning.The research on the performance of transferring the operation right of the ecotourism resource is a new topic, especially under the development of the theory and practice in our country.The concept of ecotourism was put forward for the first time in an international meeting on environmental protection, in Mexico, 1986. It has more than 20 years history about ecotourism research abroad, and only a decade in domestic. Over the past 22 years, scholars at home and aboard made unremitting research about ecotourism and the related issues, formed the basis of the theory in this field.In the 90’s, as the transferring of operation right of tourism resources rises, the same activities in ecotourism carried out in full swing. But many ecotourism resources which of distinctive features, supporting good combination of spaces, and of high-grade are in the remote areas. In order to develop the local economic, the practice of the transferring of the operation right goes a long way before the theory. According to statistics, at the end of 2006, there were more than 20 provinces and cities of more than 400 general tourism resources and ecotourism resources had their operation rights transferred.The related researches focused on two aspects: first, the transfer of operation right should or should not be; second, the design for the mechanism. And the research on the performance of the transferring of the operation right have not even started.Based on the situation mentioned above, I did a lot of readings, then I communicated with the experts. In drawing on existing researches, I put forward the concept of the optimal transferring of the operation right. And then I set up a comprehensive package of the performance evaluation index system. At last, I did empirical analysis on the social indicators.In this thesis I used the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process and comprehensive evaluation of the performance. Based on the division of factors, set up the index system. In the process of setting the indexes, first, I did some theoretical studies, and then interviewed the experts and practitioners for advice. Combined these two aspects to setting the indicators and the index system.As the price of the operation right is a part of the index system, and the existing researches on this aspect is limited, I use the method of setting up the index system to analyze the factors which influence the price. Given the price formula.In the empirical research, based on current data availability, I collected and collated the samples, and analyzed.The main content of this thesis in addition to the "Introduction", consist five main components:1, The theoretical basis. The second chapter, made an overview on the performance of transferring the operation right of ecotourism resource. And put forward the concept of optimal transferring of the operation right. This laid the foundation for the establishment of the index system. The main content are: the transferring of operation right of ecotourism resource, transfer pricing, the choose of the method to study the transfer pricing, optimal transferring of the operation right and an overview of the performance on the transferring of the operation right of ecotourism resource.2, The establishment of index system. Chapter three of the thesis, I established the index system. By reading through the literature and consulting experts, the index system established includes four parts: the transfer price, ecological performance, operating performance and social performance.3, Weight. In chapter four, based on the results of theoretical analysis, I attempt to weight on the part of social performance indicators. In the attempt of factor analysis, it failed. Then I try to find out the reasons for the failure, and illustrates the important role that the factor analysis for future studies to determine the weight and amendments. The next best thing, using questionnaires and interviews with experts, I use the AHP to determine the weight.4, The empirical study. For some of the sample data is still in the phase of confidentiality, in the fifth chapter, the empirical study takes Xingwen Stone Sea, Sichuan Province as an example. I did the analysis of social performance.5, Sum. The last chapter of this thesis, is the summary of this research. And highlighted the important significance of the factor analysis when all of the sample data are available in the future.
