Abstract
|
Azo dyes are the one vatiety of dye products with the most types and quantities. For their simple production process , low cost and outstanding dyeing performance, they are widely used for a variety of the dyeing and stamping of natural and synthetic fibers, as well as for the painting for paints, plastics and rubber. Diazo-coupling method is used in the traditional production of azo dyes, as a result a good quantity of waste water and waste acid are produced and severe environmental pollution is induced. With the scientific and technological progress and the improvement of people’s living standards, requirements for environment-friendly products are getting higher and higher, therefore the development of green dye is to meet the demand not only of environmental protection and sustainable development, but also of the production of new-feature dyes.A brief introduction is made on the harm and disadvantages of azo dyes as well as the status and development of green dyes. Besides, improvement is made based on the production of azo dyes, and green dyes are produced through eliminating the pollution tache during the process of the former reaction. Our work includs: first, use non-diazo-coupling method to synthesize classic azo-dyes, including methyl red, a series of azo dyes with phenol as the nucleus, a series of azo dyes with naphthol as the nucleus and the three dual nitrogen benzene azo dyes; second, make a test to the color range of the above; third, compare the reacion conditions during the synthesis process and explore some better reaction conditions for the process.Through these studies, we offer a new approach for the synthesis of certain azo compounds, and made our efforts on the research on the green chemistry.
