Purpose : CD44s and MUC2 protein is widely expressed in a variety of tumors and tumor progression relative to the fire , the study of CD44s and MUC2 protein of the bladder transitional cell carcinoma of the pathological grading , staging , predictive and diagnostic value of the number of tumors , the recurrence . Methods: The immunohistochemical techniques to detect 52 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma (Ⅰ grade 18 cases , Ⅱ grade 17 cases , Ⅲ grade 17 cases ; superficial bladder cancer ( T is sub > ~~ T 1 ) 27 cases of invasive ( T 2 the T 4 < / sub >) 25 cases ) and 8 cases of normal bladder mucosa CD44s and MUC2 protein expression . RESULTS : CD44s have different levels of expression in normal bladder mucosa and bladder transitional cell carcinoma , the positive expression in 52 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma in 22 cases (42.3 %) , the positive expression rate and tumor grading , TNM stage significant correlation (P <0.05), and tumor recurrence , the number of no significant correlation (P> 0.05), and the expression in bladder transitional cell carcinoma of the distribution change associated with the pathological grade (P <0.05); MUC2 in normal bladder mucosa without expression, the positive expression in 52 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma in 23 cases ( 44.2% ) , and in various pathological grade , TNM stage , tumor recurrence , tumor number between expression there was no significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) . MUC2 positive expression in 23 cases of CD44s positive expression of the six cases , negative in 17 cases , the expression was negatively correlated ( P <0.05 ) . Conclusion: bladder transitional cell carcinoma CD44s and MUC2 correlation between the expression of CD44s protein metastatic cells as judged by bladder cancer grading , staging a point of reference , the United MUC2 protein detection can improve the sensitivity of the judgment .
