Abstract


In recent years, psychological research shows the importance of ecological validity . The ecological validity stressed the observed differences in experimental conditions close to real life as possible . False recognition due to be in line with the development trend of the psychology ecological validity of cognitive psychologists concern . Bartlett classic since 1932 began , more and more people on the phenomenon of false memory . 1959 Desse and 1995 Rodiger of McDermott false recognition research has entered a new stage . The false recognition studies explore the law of the memory and reduce memory illusion phenomenon has important theoretical and practical significance . This study investigated the scope of the variable to false recognition . False recognition research there are many, but the false recognition for categorical variables did not get enough attention and attention . Only individual researchers began to pay attention to this aspect of the problem . In this study, the Chinese word for experimental materials for college students , was the reaction of the test word ratio as the dependent variable of the scope of the project the number of repeats , the familiarity of the scope of the project and scope of the project typical category size and other factors on false recognition . Includes a total of four experiments . Experiment 1 focuses on the scope of the project repeated the false recognition .
