Abstract

Kinship Terms decent translation of the translation for the reader an accurate understanding of relationship between the characters is significant, therefore linguists and translators researchers from different angles on kinship terms widely studied . In this paper, on the basis of prior studies , from the pragmatic context relating to relevance theory perspective by analyzing the corpus of sentences about kinship , kinship research context for language translation of influence as well as its translation methods . Firstly, collate statistical corpus kinship and choose appellation parents , husband and wife , and brothers and sisters of the title title as the research object. Meanwhile, the context is decomposed into a relatively stable cultural context and background of richly varied contexts and situational context , and then were interpreted through contextual analysis three types of contextual factors on the impact of kinship terms and their translations translation methods . Data analysis and corpus examples show that , kinship terms of translation is a complex decision-making process is heavily influenced by various contextual factors. Investigation results are as follows : ( a ) in the Japanese translation of kinship , context is an indispensable factor. ( 2 ) depending on whether there is a shared context, the Sino-Japanese kinship terms can be translated to the corresponding or similar appellation , and the use of additional techniques to convey the original translation expressed overtones . Authors hope that by studying the context on kinship terms Translation , Translation Studies Kinship promote developments in the field , as well as the understanding of different cultures and exchanges information. However, the literary language , after all, the language of real life different, future research in this area can be more attention from the real-life corpus .
