Abstract


ObjectiveIn order to create new clinical medicine which can prevent and cure hyperhomocysteinemia and atherosclerosis, we study the treatment effect and mechanism of Chinese Medicine（YiShenHuoXue Capsule） on hyperhomocysteinemia and atherosclerosis. Methods1. Animal examination1.1 Test animal: Wistar rats.1.2 Model: We set up hyperhomocysteinemia rats model by feeding wistar rats high methionine diet（which include 5% methionine） for 3 months.1.3 Animals grouping: Using randomized single blind method divided 80 Wistar rats into 8 groups. They are model group, normal group, large dose yishenhuoxue capsule group, little dose yishenhuoxue capsule group, west medicine group(folic acid, VitB12 ,VitB6), dahuangzhechong pill group, preventive group and blank group.1.4 Targets be observed: We study the blood homocysteine（Hcy）, endothelin（ET）, nitric oxide（NO）, antithrombin-III（AT-III）, superoxide dismutase（SOD） and malondialdehyde（MDA） changes in each group.
