Abstract


The northeast writers group’s exilic novels were written in the1930s. The novels werepopular with many reads.The Spatial features of novels has been concerned with lesstraditionally.But one of the important features of it is spatiality.If we deliberate the northeastwriters group’s exilic novels from the Spatial narrative perspective, the breadth and the depth oftheyself will be expanded.The thesis is based on the text interpretation of the northeast writers group’s exilic novels,with spatial narrative theories. firstly, it deals with relevant theories and actual conditions aboutspatial narrative theory, and then it explores in the several aspects: physical space,psychologicalspace, imaginal space, narrative skills of space, narrative structure of space,etc.The paper is composed of five parts, including introduction,main body and conclusion. Themain body is composed of three chapters.The first part is the introduction of the paper. This part mainly introduces the topic’sorigin,the research status, the object of research and the significance of research etc. This partfirst presents the relevant theories about space narration.Then, it makes a analysis on the currentstatus of the study of The northeast writers group’s exilic novels. On the basis of it, discussed thesignificance of this project. The text studing from the spacial angle, it will be contributes toexpanding the horizons of study and diversified interpretation. The northeast writers group’sexilic novels have many innovations in spatial narrative,and they also have important values innarrative.In addition, the spacial narrative of the text has a very important realisticsignificance.The texts present many actual spaces,they causing the attention about survivalspace and survival plight.The first chapter is the second part, introducing the generation of the northeast writersgroup’s exilic novels’spatial narrative art. This part firstly introduces relevent generatingbackground. The spactial narrative of northeast writers group’s exilic novels are affected byspacial narrative tradition of china and literary thoughts of the west.Secondly, it introducesgenerating concrete conditions.The conditions are composed by writers’ living environment,cultural exchanges, the influence of saman culture, the exile experience and the root-searchingcomplex of writers. The third part is the second chapter, discussing the spacial narrative of the northeast writersgroup’s exilic novels.This part firstly introduces substantive space of the text. This substantivespace is also called physical space. This space is a visible and authentic space. Secondly, itanalyzes virtual space of the text. The virtual space is composed by psychological space andimage space. Thridly, it introduces the spacial narrative skill of the text. The skill includes streamof comsciousness, montage, juxtaposition, etc. Lastly, it analyzes the spacial narrative structureof the text. The structure includes the structure of orange, intertextual structure, circularstructure, ect.The fourth part, the third chapter of the paper,intorducing the spacial narrative’s value ofthe northeast writers group’s exilic novels. The northeast writers group’s exilic novels areaffected by spacial narrative tradition of china.Then, they have many innovations in spatialnarrative. These innovations provide some references for later generations. The northeast writersgroup’s exilic novels truly reproduce the living space of people at that time and cause theattention about survival space and survival plight in reflecting the reality. The northeast writersgroup’s exilic novels show many grand scenes through the skills of spatial narrative. It alsoshows masculine and tragic aesthetic pursuit.The fifth part summarizes the whole paper, it show the unique artistic charm of the text,andreaders could appreciatethe narrative skill.
