Abstract


As the hope of the whole nation and the people, college students demonstrate various new types of characters and changes, with the development of the times. It is of great significance to enhance the college students’national spiritual education, not only because it is the core requirement to build the harmonious society, but also because it is the powerful motivation to bring about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This thesis, firstly, systematically states the background and the values of the topic and draws conclusion and make remarks towards the national spirit and national spiritual education. The thesis focuses on the description of Chinese national spirit’s connotation, characters, function and historical development process, while it stresses on the national spiritual education’s connotation and the necessity to strengthen the education. Secondly, the thesis brings forward the development opportunity and challenge of national spiritual education, tightly integrated with the current status of times, and then proposes the principles and contains to the present college students’ national spiritual education. Thirdly, combined with the characters of college students and the social background, the thesis raises the strategies to promote the college students’national spiritual education. Here are the three strategies:to improve and perfect the college students’ national spiritual education system; to cultivate the college’s national education system; to activate the college students’capacity to inherit and carry forward the national spirit; and to promote the education based on the Party and the whole society.
