Abstract


As a product of the rapid economic development , the deepening of the social division of labor , the development of the logistics industry have a great impact on society as a whole of the flow of goods and operating costs of enterprises , operating efficiency , their degree of development is a measure of the degree of modernization and economic strength of a country and region one important indicator . Redefine the new concept of the three industrial renowned economist Li Yining , the emerging modern logistics classified as tertiary industry , it is clear as a modern logistics to reduce material consumption, improve the productivity of the labor rate outside three profit source . In this paper, based on the theoretical discussion of regional logistics and regional economic growth between the status quo of development and economic growth of the logistics industry in Hunan Province qualitative analysis , and further use of the 1985 to 2008 a total of 24 years of data selection cointegration analysis method quantitative relationship development and economic growth of the logistics industry in Hunan Province and vector auto- regression analysis method . By qualitative analysis and quantitative research , trying to figure out the characteristics of the Logistics Industry and Economic Growth in Hunan Province , and from the perspective of the logistics industry to think about the issue of economic growth , and put forward relevant suggestions . In this paper, the following relevant conclusions derived through empirical analysis : long-run equilibrium relationship between the development and the economic growth of the logistics industry in Hunan Province , and is a one - way causal relationship , logistics development , fluctuations in GDP fluctuations caused by Granger reason , but the economic fluctuations in growth does not significantly affect the logistics development fluctuations ; addition, the cointegration regression analysis can be seen pulling effect of the economic development of logistics is not pulling effect of the labor force, capital , indicating that the logistics industry as Hunan an economic growth point of the province has more room for development . Accordingly, the papers to the development of the logistics industry in Hunan Province as an entry point , proposed the development of logistics development of the overall planning , promoting Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration logistics cluster development , development of agricultural products cold chain logistics , reduce logistics costs , speed up logistics personnel training , to enhance the development of logistics the soft environment specific measures proposed , in order to be able to play a positive role in promoting economic development in Hunan .
