This thesis focuses on the analysis of the relatonship between the material andemotion, based on the interest that I had in my childhooh when I found that thecandle, a frequently-used material, could be used by re-moulded. In this thesisthe writer wants to prove that the same matierals may mean differently at differentemotions, and they are inseparably interconnected. Owing to the finding, on thesecond part of the thesis the writer expounds the mood of the emotion, the choiceof the material and the emotion that we are eager to show, from my work of art“Yisuiyingyu”. By changing the shape of the common materials, which people oftenegnore, we can create our works in a researching way.Thus it can make a less distancebetween art derivatives and psychology of the viewers, resonating in our emotion.
