Ethical decision-making is a kind of special decision among manydecision-making activities, what is an important branch in the decision-making field. There are two strands intertwined forces in ethical decision-making, one is thedeliberation which represents the rational while the other one is intuition representsperceptual. Most researchers consider that the moral decision is a conscious process andintuition often leads to poor decision. However, increasing evidence suggests thatdeliberative decision making may actually increase unethical behaviors and reducealtruistic motives when it overshadows implicit, intuitive influences on moral judgmentsand decisions in certain situations. In order to explore which is the dominator between deliberation and intuition inethical decision making, the present research selects450subjects, choose the deceptiongame and charity activity as the main experimental paradigm, considering the effect ofdeliberation and intuition in moral decision-making from the moral deviant behaviorand prosocial behavior, moreover, we added the social value orientation to explore theinteraction effect among social value orientation and deliberation and intuition. The experimental results show that:1、The subjects of deliberation group will make more deception behaviors than thesubjects of intuitive group, and the deliberation group making their decision under theinfluence of income, while the intuition group was more affected by emotion;2、The subjects of prosocial value orientation, individual value orientation andcompetitive value orientation in deliberation group will make more deception behaviorsthan the subjects of intuitive group, there is the significant interaction effects betweendeliberation and intuitive and prosocial value orientation, and intuitive group reportedmore negative emotions;3、The subjects of prosocial value orientation, individual value orientation andcompetitive value orientation in intuitive group will make more charity behaviors thanthe subjects of deliberation group, and there is the significant interaction effectsbetween deliberation and intuitive and prosocial value orientation.
