Abstract


It’s generally said that modern Project Management is more and more popular with the development of the economics, especially with the development of the information economics. Developing Project Management in manufactory, especially for IC manufactory, it becomes more and more important. Most IC design companies are overseas, China’s R&D capacity is weaker but the cost of human resource and material are cheaper. For this situation, how to improve the new product introduction, span the limit between area and culture, and make quality and cost under control at the same time, it becomes very important to increase competitive capability. Base on the knowing of project management and the experience in job time, this thesis is tried to describe how to take S semiconductor as example to improve new product introduction.The thesis consists of five chapters, they are introduction, literature summarize for PM in new product introduce application, problems and cause in S semiconductor manufactory for new product introduce, application of project management method in S semiconductor manufactory for new product introduce and conclusion. The first chapter indicates the thesis background and study method. The 2nd chapter summarizes the literature for PM new product introduce application and the study situation in domestic and overseas. The 3rd chapter indicates the status of the new product introduce of S Semiconductor manufactory then it points out the problems in new product introduce process and analyze the cause after problems are summarized and PM’s important in this project. The fourth chapter studies the position of new product introduces procedure and detail project, and explains the project management method application in new product introduce. The fifth chapter summaries the major research harvest and indicates the future study direction basing on insufficiency of this thesis.The thesis hopes, from macro to micro, from general to detail, from theory to practice, it can indicate actual new product introduce project management of S Semiconductor manufactory, and then it can be as reference project management work.
