Abstract


The protection and reuse of historic building, which starting from the strategy of the concept of Tectonics, may extracted the True information of historic buildings form the complex background, so that the Historic nature of Architecture could be strengthen, and then the value of historic buildings could retention and renewal more effectivelyThis article focus on the historic buildings as the main object of study of with the perspective based on the concept of Tectonics, starting from the Tectonic elements of architecture, this article use the method of literature review and the case of historic buildings study, describes the general strategies and means in the protection and reuse case of historic buildings. A systematic review of the Tectonic theory and its background has made in the front of this article, and established the Tectonic theory and the logic between Tectonic elements. Starting from the contents of Tectonic, an in-depth study of protection and reuse of historic building has made in the next chapter, and it focus on the relationship between the old and new tectonic elements of historic buildings.On this basis, this article deeply discusses the method of the protection and reuse, through the relationship of "material - structure - detailed structure - space environment‖, then identified the method of the protection and reuse of historic buildings. At last, this article contents many related works at china and abroad, and an in-depth study has made about some works in Shanghai and Wuhan.
