Abstract


2007 outbreak of the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis will drag the global economic recession mire , U.S. dollar -dominated international monetary system as the crisis broke out and spread the culprit. In a crisis, the drawbacks of this monetary system fully exposed , causing the parties concerned. Dollar international reserve currency status gradually weakened. Reform of the international monetary system , and promote the formation of diversified monetary system in the world has reached a consensus. China as a rising economic power , should seize this rare strategic opportunity to actively participate in the reform of the international monetary system , and continuously improve the RMB in the international monetary system in the position. And as an opportunity to promote the process of internationalization of the RMB , and strive to make it a multi-currency system is an important one yuan , then for global economic stability and development and make greater contribution. This paper first reviews the history of the formation of the major international currencies , in order to get on the internationalization of RMB useful insights . Then the background of RMB internationalization were analyzed from two perspectives comparative analysis of domestic and foreign RMB internationalization opportunities and challenges facing the internationalization of the RMB will have the benefits and costs may be incurred were investigated . Internationalization of the RMB in elucidating the development status , based on the proposed RMB internationalization strategy selection step . Finally, the outflow of RMB back mechanism and conducted research and analysis. Through the international balance of payments statistics for the various projects under the yuan flow and return channels made ??a detailed analysis , pointing out the problems , propose targeted policy recommendations. This conclusion is: the internationalization of RMB depends both on the gradual opening of the capital account , while also relying on the Shanghai international financial center and Hong Kong's offshore financial center of the building to provide a good institutional environment .
