In the enterprise question of science overall plan higher education, higher education structure is the extremely important question of policy-making foundation, also is the most prominent major issue. Presently, higher education’s constitutive property contradictory prominent day by day, concentrated expression on the structure conflict of society to higher education’s demand structure with higher education form, branch class, level, and layout small steelyard structure, thus causes higher education has serious contradictory aspect in the recruitment of students, employment as well as service place, and so on aspects. Along with high school from society’s edge moves towards society’s center gradually, this aspect question will be more prominent. Therefore, how to adjust the place higher education structure in theoretically, enable it gradually tend to scientific style and rationalization, is precisely an important premise of local authority science overall plan the local higher education. This research is precisely in view of current Yunnan’s higher education structure question conducts system research, its primary research coverage divides into four parts:The first chapter has carried elaboration firstly on the question proposed with present situation of this research, proposed the theory significance and practice significance of this research, and have made brief introduction to the mentality and the method.The second chapter has elaborated higher education structure’s connotation in theoretically, also has analyzed higher education structure’s influence factor, and further has unscrambled the main body function of higher education structure.The third chapter has carried on thorough system analysis to Yunnan higher education structure’s present situation, thus established reality basis of this research. We obtained the development survey from Yunnan higher education, have carried on reasonable analysis in view of the form, the branch class, the level, the layout structure basic present situation of Yunnan higher education, thus summarized the main question and it’s reason which Yunnan higher education structure existence. The fourth chapter aims at the main question which analysis induction obtains from third chapter, further through comparison research method, discusses other scholars about higher education structure adjustment research results of Henan, Shanxi and Guangxi, opens up the field of own research vision, summarizes obtained several enlightenments, and in the foundation of model above three provinces (area)’s higher education structure adjustment experience, union actual problem and it’s reason, then attempt put forward the basic mentality proposal of adjustment Yunnan Province’s higher education structure.
