Abstract


To ethnic minorities in the 1990s, the film as a whole object into narratological research system is the innovation of this paper , the definition of minority films is a prerequisite in this study with the first move . Has its own dual characteristics of ethnic minorities in the 1990s film , on the one hand, in the context of the reality of market globalization , there has been the decline in the number of creative trough the other hand, the emergence of a group of classic the emergence of minorities director creative groups forming \View of the vacancies on the previous theoretical studies , the paper has a large exposition space , under the premise of the use of the theory of narrative , semiotics , narrative features movies from minority case analysis , symbolic interpretation of three aspects , analysis of the narrative structure , the perspective of the narrative point of view , the national narrative characteristics of mining as well as the significance of folk symbols research , not only to find out two narrative structure : the causal - linear structure , and interleaving contrast structure , also through interpretation of symbols to reveal a minority of film characteristics and cultural qualities . Seventeen years , the new era as well as the new century, the three time periods for the frame of reference , through specific analysis and research of the minorities films in the 1990s , to the past and to the development of Chinese ethnic minorities movies in the 90 's the creation of both the value of academic research to provide a macro , but also to carve out its theoretical significance , so as to give a correct understanding of the minorities movies of this period .
