Abstract


Land is a human survival and development of the carrier , is the essential foundation for economic growth factors of production . About the relationship between land and economic growth , many classical economists have discussed , such as William Petty that land is the mother of wealth , Adam Smith that land is to support economic growth, one of the three factors of production , Ricardo , etc. further emphasizes the role of land for economic growth . But since Soro after economists in the study of economic growth theory , few mention the role of the land . This article aims to regain the importance of land scope of the study is limited to non-agricultural production , land use land for construction to represent and analyze the contribution of non-agricultural output . This article will land for construction of the basic factors of production into models of economic growth , the construction land to build an endogenous growth model . And use the Yangtze River Delta three provinces , namely Shanghai, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province in 1984 ~ 2008 empirical analysis of panel data to estimate the Yangtze River Delta land for construction of its contribution to economic growth . And theoretical models and empirical analysis on the basis of the conclusions put forward some policy recommendations.
