Abstract


Chi Zijian’s creative writing may be described well as a special phenomenon and be difficult to classified and categorized in the present age of China literary world. Her novels are characterized by a broad vision of life and a strong atmosphere of tragedy, and she always adheres to the multi-faceted human nature to write and inquiry, and then has gradually formed a warm and desolate style of the tragedy.The life is a key element in Chi Zijian’s novel writing, the tragedy is Chi Zijian’s emotional cut to the state of various life. She always takes an interest in the nature、marriage and family、and vulnerable groups, so her novels has characterized by the broad artistic vision and tragic human feelings. Among them, tragedy of writing life about the sun, the moon, mountains, animals, plant and so on, permeates the writer’s strong pastoral mood, and reveals the writer’s strong pastoral feeling; exploring the emotional world in family and marriage, reflects that the writer questions the traditional ethics and asks the value of modern life, and conveys the writer’s warm critical consciousness; concerning about the life and death of vulnerable groups, implies the writer’s reflection on the complexity of human nature, entrusts with the author’s excellent pursuit about good life.Chi Zijian’s novel is permeated with a strong atmosphere of the tragedy, and the atmosphere of this tragedy is closely related to the tragedy of her life experience and the tragic pursuit of art. Pastorally looking back on the nature, sadly back to the family and marriage, fatalistically searching vulnerable groups and so on, all of them disseminate tragic colors. It is different from the Western tradition tragedy that the tragic of Chi Zijian’s novels has the warmth of characteristics, especially the end of the novel, is often to be with different degrees of happy ending. It is the warmth of the tragedy of quality that has a relationship not only with traditional Chinese culture and Northeast folklore, but also with her growth experience and her living environment; that reflects the value of her pursuit of civil and achieves her tragic literary pursuit.This article takes the research method with knowing of the world through a writer and the close reading, and by combing and analyzing Chi Zijian’s novels, we try to reveal the tragic color of the life in her novels, and analysis the causes of the artistic pursuit of the warm and desolate tragedy.
