Abstract

In the context of the knowledge economy era, economic growth rely on some of the factors of production such as physical capital and labor inputs distinguished, modern economic growth is increasingly dependent on the growth of knowledge, knowledge elements in the importance of regional economic development increasingly prominent. The role of knowledge spillover is a way of knowledge diffusion, on behalf of the recycling of knowledge, for the diffusion of knowledge in the area between the promotion of regional knowledge production, promote economic growth is self-evident. Shandong Province as a major economic province, its economic growth and the impact of knowledge spillovers are inseparable. Through space since the correlation analysis and econometric simulation method to study the spatial and temporal characteristics of knowledge spillovers, Shandong Province and the role of economic growth.
