Abstract


Language is the carrier of culture, carries a particular national culture. The translation is an important means to pass the language and culture information. English as a world lingua franca to learn and master the English language to help understand the differences between different cultures, and thus broaden the knowledge of the world. With the Chinese and Western exchange of increasingly frequent and broad and deep impact on people's daily life and social life of Western culture in many ways, from a cultural perspective, learn and study the language and its translation is a major issue in today's field of linguistics and translation industry. English idioms English language in the process of long-term use of natural accumulation, not only is a national cultural phenomenon, but also records and heritage with other ethnic and cultural phenomenon. English idioms is an important part of the essence of the English language and Western culture. With the deepening of the cultural exchange between China and the West, both English idioms in spoken language or written language, are playing an increasingly significant role. Their numbers are growing, and their quality is improving. The knowledge and ability to use English idioms is an important factor in the evaluation of English learners and Intercultural Communication 'level of English Acquisition. Thus, through the study of English idioms can learn about the cultural characteristics of the Western nation, and further understanding of the close relationship between language and culture, and deepen the knowledge and understanding of Cultural Differences. Translation of English idioms, culture is a very important factor, we should focus on the translation of cultural factors, attitudes, strategies and methods. Order to better solve the problem of cultural barriers in the study and translation of English idioms, from the authority idioms dictionaries selected 347 ordinary corpus illustration, starting from the analysis of the relationship between culture, idioms, translation, based on domestic and foreign linguistics English idioms and cultural Research and Translation Studies from the cultural exchange perspective to explore the elements of Western culture reflect its translation in English Idioms strategy. In this paper, the main objective factors affecting English idioms choice of translation strategies analysis of naturalization, cultural translation theories and strategies of alienation the Idiom Translation and tendentious grasp to effectively deal with English idioms and cultural factors, transmission of cultural information. Based on these studies, we propose to focus on cultural connotations Idiom Translation, abandon the language level translation microeconomic theory, and to promote the cultural aspects of Idiom Translation macro on cultural translation principles and strategies.
