Abstract


This article appeared in English poetry metaphor were classified statistics , contrast, and Analysis of the similarities and differences between the two nations analogy thinking , concluding : English poetry metaphor than Chinese poetry more creative thinking , pioneering . Through four aspects of the English poetry metaphor for comparison. First, from the body of poetic metaphor and Metaphor word categories of things pointed to compare data indicate that English poetry figurative abstraction focus more on top.
