Objective: To investigate the DKK-1 (Dickkopf-1) and beta - catenin expression in non- small cell lung cancer (non-small cell lung cancer) and its correlation . Methods: Chongqing Medical University Affiliated Hospital of non-small cell lung cancer paraffin specimens of 60 cases of squamous cell carcinoma 32 cases , 28 cases of adenocarcinoma , DKK-1, β-catenin expression by immunohistochemistry SP method . Analysis of DKK - 1 , beta - catenin expression and non- small cell lung cancer patient's gender , age, pathological type , degree of differentiation , clinical stage and lymph node metastasis , and analysis of DKK - 1 , the correlation between beta - catenin . Results: In 60 patients with non-small cell lung cancer histopathological , DKK - 1 positive expression rate and beta - catenin abnormal expression rate were 25.0% (15/ 60) and 71.7% ( 43 /60 ) . DKK - 1 of expression and gender , age and pathological type has nothing to do ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , the degree of tumor differentiation , clinical stage and lymph node metastasis , etc. there is a significant difference ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; beta - catenin expression and gender , age, pathological type , clinical stage and lymph node metastasis ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , significant differences in the degree of tumor differentiation ( P lt ; 0.05 ) DKK - 1 and beta - catenin expression in non - small cell lung cancer associated ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . Conclusion : The loss of expression of DKK - 1 may play a role in the development of non-small cell lung cancer , its beta - catenin impact may be one of the mechanisms of its role .
