Abstract

Objective: This article investigate the clinical therapeutic effects of the radical resection combined with the TACE therapy to the huge PHC.Methods: Retrospective analysis and follow-up visiting are adopted to analyze the clinical documents of the 95 huge primary hepatocellular cancer patients who were received and cured in our hospital form 2005 to 2009, and we choose 50 ones which are eligible. 25 patients simply received the radical resection. Other 25 patients received the TACE treatment in the 5th to 6th weeks after the radical resection of the huge PHC. Compare the survival rates in the following 1 year and 2 years, and we analyze the results using statistical methods.Results: Compare the survival people and rates in the following 1 and 2 years, it is 15, 6 people alive and the survival rate is 60.0% , 24.0% of the group one, 18, 13 people alive and the survival rate is 72.0% , 52.0% of the group two. Which with statistical difference(p<0.05). The differences between the two groups has the statistical significant.Conclusion: The radical resection combined with the TACE therapy to the huge PHC can improves the treatment efficacy obviously and increase the survival rates, compared with the simply radical resection.
