Deer roots Asteraceae (Compositae) Loulu genus (Stemmacantha Cass) plant Lucao [Stemmacantha carthamoides (Willd.) Dittrich] roots, perennial herb that grows in alpine and sub- mountain belt in the meadow, hillside , wet places . Deer root contains flavonoids, polysaccharides, volatile oil , vitamin A, vitamin C, minerals P, 20 - hydroxy ecdysterone (20-hydroxyecdysone) neurotransmitter and other ingredients, with qi brain efficacy, indications neurasthenia and loss of appetite in folk are used to enhance the resistance of tonic , has a certain development and application prospects. The topic for the deer root chemical composition of the isolation and structural identification ; quercetin , β- ecdysterone extraction conditions were investigated and its contents were measured ; pair of deer of different root extracts of active research . The main research contents and results are as follows : 1, the chemical composition of deer root extraction, separation and identification . Root herbs from deer isolated 23 components , liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry (LC / MS) hyphenated techniques , nuclear magnetic resonance technique in which six compounds were identified structures , namely: p-hydroxy benzoic acid, cinnamic acid kaempferol , quercetin , β- ecdysterone and ursolic acid . 2, deer root of quercetin , β- ecdysterone extraction conditions were studied , using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique determination of quercetin in Xinjiang deer root , β- ecdysterone content, the results showed that quercetin Xinjiang deer root , β- ecdysterone respectively 21.7 ~ 217μg/mL and 1.45 ~ 14.5μg/mL range, with peak area showed a good linear relationship (r = 0.9999, r = 0.9998), the average recoveries were 100.68% and 100.39% . 3, using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) was determined deer root extracts of different polarity hydroxyl radical (· OH) scavenging results showed that different deer root extract objects on the hydroxyl radical scavenging performance has different ; deer root extract significantly the hydroxyl radical (· OH) role.
