Abstract


As the main input for language learning, reading, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills occupies a very important position, is the most basic way for people to obtain information (Chengxiao Tang, Zheng 2005). Both in theory and in practice, the reading problem has been the focus of language educators. Basic education in China, is one of the important goals of English teaching in secondary schools to improve students' English reading ability. But poor English reading ability is still a prominent problem in the high school English teaching. \Reason, on the one hand, and one-sided, blind to read the concept, on the other hand, with the learner is unable to grasp and use appropriate reading strategies. Therefore, in order to get a good reading results and reading speed is very necessary to understand the psychological mechanisms and characteristics of the reading process, and on this basis to develop good reading habits and reading strategies. To achieve this goal, we must read the instruction during the same time necessary reading strategies training for learners, so that learners effective use of reading strategies. This paper aims to draw on the learning strategy research at home and abroad on the basis of Hohhot nineteenth secondary schools through questionnaires early sophomore 81 students study to use learning strategies status of junior high school students in English reading, find their reading difficulties and the lack of reading strategies, according 0'Malley and Chamot 1990 theory to explore how metacognitive strategies training went into junior high school English reading teaching through classroom teaching of reading integrate reading strategies training, training a part of the junior high school sophomore, and after the end of the training experiment, the final grade of the two classes for scientific statistical analysis to explore the effect of reading strategy training: After reading strategy training students to read understandable results improved effectively. The results of this study has some significance: the junior high school English reading teaching junior high school English teachers can be reasonably integrated reading strategies training and classroom instruction, teachers should pay more attention to students' reading process and guide them to learn using the right strategies and assessment strategies in a timely manner to use effects , so that most of the students can understand reading achievements and progress.
