Abstract


Convergence hypothesis in the context of the era of economic globalization , economic growth in different countries and regions , a large number of empirical studies , the complexity and diversity of the real world is not unified confirm this hypothesis , and even the question this hypothesis . However , economic growth convergence hypothesis implies unique charm to attract the growing number of economists to make more extensive and detailed study of its . Economic growth is the result of the interaction of a complex system of internal factors , economic growth must proceed from the point of view of the system , to get a valid conclusion . Fujian's economy to achieve the overall rapid growth since the reform and opening up , and at the same time , the economic development gap between the province also caused widespread concern . This paper mainly studies the phenomenon of \With the analysis of the convergence of the basic theoretical framework , the author uses county data 1978 - 2006 carried out a detailed analysis of Fujian Province regional convergence phenomenon . The basic conclusions of this paper is :1978- 1990 , Fujian province-wide economic growth in the presence of β- absolute convergence ; 1990-2006 , the economic growth of Fujian Province , there are two \developed club \convergence signs does not exist , but showed poor clubs poorer, the rich clubs are getting richer . The econometric model analysis showed that the the : regional accumulation of physical capital and human capital , international trade , urbanization , industrialization process , the size of government is the main influencing factors \Then the basic conclusion of the author of the convergence mechanism for the balanced development of the Fujian regional economic policy recommendations . Finally, the outlook for this study conclusions and follow-up study .
