Abstract


As a function of type of writing style, scientific English is the common English developed on the basis of , and gradually formed its own in the form of rules on vocabulary and language features . Term structure because it is an objective, serious and precise characteristics of the English is frequently applied and considered to be one of the main features of scientific English . Noun structure on an incorrect understanding of discourse would greatly reduce information technology function, so how to reproduce the term of the performance of the objective facts and smoothly and accurately translated into Chinese science and technology English translation of the key. In this paper, the theoretical background of systemic functional linguistics , grammatical metaphor from the perspective discussed in terms of scientific English and Its Translation . In this paper the theoretical basis from the start of the term , first reviewed the scientific and technological phenomenon in English nouns related theoretical research, and then analyzed in terms of science and technology in English classes and features , then from the conceptual , interpersonal , textual three perspectives terms of the role of discourse in science and technology , and finally through a lot of examples of this paper analyzes and discusses the applicable terms of Scientific English translation translation skills. Based on the difference between the two languages ??in the United Kingdom as well as the difference between the term structure , nouns of the same level in order to be translated into Chinese on the nouns, verbs or adjectives , you can also order transition to a higher level , that is translated into a small sentence . Although this article can not be discussed in detail in terms of scientific English phenomenon , but I hope this research can enhance scientific English learners to understand the phenomenon of nouns , improve scientific English style in terms of translation quality , so as to English translation and application of science and technology lay a solid foundation.
