Abstract


Refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with temporal lobe tissue ATF6 Perk expression [Objective] by studying the activation of transcription factors ( activating Transcription factor 6 , ATF6 ) , double-stranded RNA - activated protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase ( double - stranded RNA -activated protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase, PERK) in refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with temporal lobe tissue expression , and to explore the role of both refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with brain injury mechanisms . [ Methods] 30 cases of refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients as the study group , 10 patients with the age of the study group and sex-matched patients with brain surgery decompression as a control group to study the parts of the patient's temporal lobe tissue . Brain tissue after surgical resection ice box quickly drawn immediately , to follow aseptic principles drawn from the whole process . Using immunohistochemical techniques to detect temporal lobe tissue activating transcription factor ( ATF6 ) , the expression levels of the double-stranded RNA - activated protein kinase-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase ( PERK ) . [Results ] refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with temporal lobe tissue visible , the proliferation of glial cells , some bite phenomenon of neurons and neuronal degeneration ; refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with temporal lobe tissue ATF6, PERK expression compared with the control group significantly increased, the number of positive cells increased, the difference was significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) [Conclusion ] ATF6, PERK significantly upregulated in refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with temporal lobe tissue , suggesting that ATF6 endoplasmic reticulum stress involved in the mechanism of refractory temporal lobe epilepsy patients with brain injury the Perk referral guide .
