Abstract


Training and training students' reading ability is one of the important purpose of teaching English in the four skills of listening and speaking reading and writing , reading occupies an extremely important position . The traditional high school English reading teaching has been using teacher-centered teaching mode , the research and application of new effective reading teaching approach is imperative . The reading teaching students as the main mode is the premise that students effective learning strategies , the optimization of the traditional classroom English teaching . This article describes a constructivist theory based on the status quo , to know the teaching of reading . Piaget (J. Piaget) is one of the representatives of the constructivist theory . The use of constructivist theory to follow two principles : first , knowledge is the cognitive subject actively construct , not a passive acceptance ; Second , cognitive individuals experience the world . Teachers in practice should be based on the general process of reading , from reading (pre-reading), read in (while-reading) and read (post-reading) three aspects of the use of effective teaching strategies to mobilize the enthusiasm of students learning to improve the students' English reading ability . And concluded through empirical research : the principal of the junior high school student in the constructivist theory of language learning under the guidance of English reading teaching inferred ability to understand and evaluate our students understand the capabilities . Learner-centered teaching reading relative to good textbook only be thoroughly explain traditional lesson planning methods difficulty is much higher . Therefore , teachers must be continually enhance their quality , careful lesson planning , good classroom organizer , discoverer and intermediaries , really allow students to become the center of the classroom .
