Abstract


Comparative Study of Sino-US high school function courses can help us to understand the mathematics education of his country, to understand the characteristics of his country's textbooks, the same time, through the comparison, but also allows us a clearer understanding of their mathematics education, their textbooks, and by finding the two countries The difference lies, timely discover its own deficiencies by the strengths of his country to contact their actual situation, put forward some suggestions can improve or provide some reference for the development of their mathematical education. In this article, the author uses the comparison method of literature, research methods of description method, statistical method, serious collection, collation and analysis of previous research results have been based on function, select the Sino-US high school curriculum as a research object, the main differences between the two countries in respect of the part of the course curriculum standards and textbook comparison to find where. By comparison, I get the following findings: (1) function courses in the high school curriculum standards between the two countries, not only there is some similarities, there are also some personality. The commonality lies: the function of the Sino-US courses have paid great attention to the link between the \emphasis on the mathematical modeling ability of students and reflect the same philosophy for all students. Personality is that different types of functions involved in the two countries \(2) between the two countries in high school function course textbook writing style, content settings, and exercises set, there are significant differences. In the writing style of American textbooks focus on student achievement motivation to develop mathematics curriculum resource utilization of Learning, the students 'problem-solving abilities, and Chinese textbooks focus on the cultivation of students' mathematical reading ability and mathematical inquiry ability.
