Abstract


Investment and consumption as the two major driving forces to spur economic growth , has always been the core of the national macro-control variables , such a big developing country in terms of its role in boosting our country is particularly important , and they have a linkage effects . This article choose to study this period of 1978 to 2007 , China's investment , consumption and economic growth , changes in trends , and joined the influencing factors of the income distribution gap , the optimal rate of investment in China under the conditions of the residents ' income gap expand the theoretical and empirical analysis on the impact of economic growth , a qualitative analysis of the widening income gap and lack of consumer demand , savings, investments not smooth external contact and variation of horizontal and longitudinal comparative analysis of the trends of the rate of investment and consumption rate , and specific The parameters of the use of quantitative analysis and regression analysis . Finally, estimates the optimal rate of investment in China is between 0.318-0.352 (condition Gini coefficient of between 0.2 and 0.3 ) , and when the expected economic growth rate of 7.5% , the investment growth rate of 25.68% .
