Abstract


"Human nature" is the whole art fulcrum Of Cao Yu’s Early Dramas. Darkness distorting reality of human nature and people exploring different ways to live and the fate of urgency as well as the earnest praise for human nature and the pursuit of beauty are the basic contents of Cao Yu "humanity" expression.Cao Yu’s four previous works are the interpretations to "humanity" and they also form a complete "Human maze" in general together. In this maze, characters in the play can’t escape from the chantingly complex "human labyrinth," and the readers or the audience will revel the mystery and intricacy of the "labyrinth of human nature," while the playwright is also wandering confusedly in the" human maze". The main method of this article is to describe dramatic narrative, combined with the playwright’s psychological, spiritual and cultural analysis, trying to find the point where his works reflected the "labyrinth of human nature" and the writer’s own "human maze" to meet and hoping to find artist’s "image" performance during their working time to explore some of the external and internal motivation. Meanwhile, this article will combine results of the research literature and art to explore the implicit answers to the writer’s questions in the "labyrinth of human nature", which will be not only the subject focuses on the argument, but also innovations.This article discusses Cao Yu’s Early Plays "human labyrinth," through the language interpretation significance level and discourse levels firstly and then Cao Yu’s unique life experience and cultural background of the times to find out the reasons of "human labyrinth," presented by Cao Yu in his early works. Finally, the article analyzes the writing effect produced by Cao Yu’s "human labyrinth" in order to investigate whether Cao Yu found out answers or approach for people who explore the exit of the "human labyrinth," in the plays.
