Objective: Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumor, its incidence and mortality rate ranks first in a variety of digestive malignancies. The occurrence and development of gastric cancer is still the focus of the study. Clinically, about 60% of gastric cancer patients even after effective treatment, but eventually died of recurrence and metastasis. Gastric cancer development is a multi-factor, multi-step process that involves various mechanisms. Oncogene activation and inactivation of tumor suppressor genes important in the process of molecular mechanisms. Research FHIT and ki-67 expression in gastric carcinoma and its correlation with gastric cancer. Further explore the mechanism of gastric cancer, to identify them with clinical pathological factors of gastric cancer, gastric cancer invasion and prognosis for the evaluation to provide further understanding of the genetic level for the high risk screening, diagnosis combined to provide reliable detection of targets. Methods: Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, outside the three subjects in October 2006 - August 2007 gastric cancer surgical specimens were 50 cases. Gastric tissue samples were collected, normal gastric mucosa (from the tumor margin gt; 5.0cm). All cancer patients no preoperative chemotherapy or radiotherapy, pathology adenocarcinoma. Using immunohistochemistry (SP method) gastric cancer tissues and normal gastric mucosa FHIT and Ki-67 expression, and to analyze the expression of the two patients with gastric gender, age, tumor location, size, gross type, differentiation, invasion depth, lymph node metastasis, clinical stage and other clinical biological behavior. All data applications SPSS12.0 statistical software for statistical analysis, P lt; 0.05 statistically significant. Results: 1, gastric cancer tissue, normal gastric mucosa, the positive expression rate of FHIT were 34%, 95%. The difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). . 2, gastric cancer tissue, normal gastric mucosa of Ki-67 expression was 88%, 10%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). 3, FHIT in highly differentiated gastric cancer, the positive expression rate of 57.14%, in the low, undifferentiated gastric cancer, the positive expression rate of 20.69%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); in the absence of lymph node The positive expression in gastric cancer metastasis was 70%, with lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer, the positive expression rate of 22.5%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); in the TNM staging, Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage expression rate of 66.67%, Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ stage expression was 24.39%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). 4, Ki-67 in the highly differentiated gastric cancer, the positive expression rate of 71.42%, in poorly differentiated gastric cancer positive expression rate of 96.55%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); in the absence of lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer, the positive expression rate was 60% in gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis, the positive expression rate was 95%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05); in the TNM staging, Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage expression rate of 66.67%, Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ stage expression was 95.12%, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). 5, gastric carcinoma FHIT and Ki-67 expression and patient age, sex and tumor location independent (P gt; 0.05). 6, FHIT and Ki-67 expression in gastric cancer was negatively correlated. (R = -0.972, P lt; 0.05). Conclusions: 1 FHIT gene in gastric cancer with low expression of Ki-67 was highly expressed in gastric carcinogenesis, development, and can serve as a malignant behavior of gastric cancer and its clinical molecular biological indicators. 2 With the foci increases, the degree of differentiation, depth of invasion deepened, lymph node metastasis, clinical stage, in gastric carcinoma decreased expression of FHIT and Ki-67 expression gradually increased gastric malignancy degree increased, fast growth, invasion and metastasis gradually. 3 gastric cancer FHIT, Ki-67 expression and patient age, sex and tumor location independent. 4 FHIT and Ki-67 expression in gastric cancer has a negative correlation. Illustrate the process of invasion and metastasis in gastric FHIT and Ki-67 expression has the opposite effect. In summary, gastric carcinoma FHIT and Ki-67 expression in gastric cancer disorders, invasion and metastasis plays an important role. Detection of gastric carcinoma FHIT and Ki-67 expression on gastric cancer development, invasion and metastasis prediction, prognosis and guide rational comprehensive treatment has important clinical significance.
