Objective: To investigate AKT2, S100A4, MMP-9 expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma , correlation and clinical significance . Methods : Using immunohistochemistry EliVision two-step method detected 50 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue , 25 cases of chronic nasopharyngitis tissue of AKT2 S100A4 , MMP - 9 protein expression and analysis of the relationship between the clinical characteristics of three with nasopharyngeal its expression in the correlation. Results: ① AKT2, S100A4, MMP-9 protein positive expression rate of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were 48.0% ( 24 / 50 ) , 52.0% ( 26 / 50 ) , 74.0% ( 37 / 50 ) , significantly higher than the chronic nasopharyngitis 8.0 % ( 2 / 25 ) , 0% ( 0 / 25 ) , 36.0% ( 9 / 25 ) ( all P lt; 0.01) ; ② AKT2, of S100A4 protein expression and nasopharyngeal carcinoma cervical lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (all P lt ; 0.05) , MMP -9 protein expression and nasopharyngeal neck lymph node metastasis-associated ( P lt; 0.01 ) , while the expression of the three patients' gender , age , T staging (P gt; 0.05 ) ; ( 3 ) nasopharyngeal AKT2, S100A4 and MMP-9 protein expression was positively correlated (all P lt ; 0.01) , the expression of AKT2 S100A4 protein expression unrelated ( P gt ; 0.05) . Conclusion : AKT2, expression of S100A4 , occurrence , development and transfer of high expression of MMP -9 protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma can play an important role of AKT2 S100A4 may be synergies and MMP-9 protein and to promote the development and transfer of nasopharyngeal carcinoma joint detect expression of the three predicted transfer trends to determine the biological behavior of NPC , some clinical value .
