Abstract

Objective: To investigate CD24 expression and bladder cancer pathological grade , clinical stage, and prognosis . Looking for the degree of malignancy of bladder cancer for clinical , prognostic indicators , and bladder cancer new treatments provide a theoretical basis . Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method in 43 cases of bladder cancer , CD24 expression were detected in 10 cases of normal bladder tissue . (1) observation of CD24 expression in bladder cancer and normal bladder tissue ; (2) analysis of CD24 expression in bladder cancer with clinical stage , pathological grade and prognosis . Results : CD24 protein expression in bladder cancer cell membrane and cytoplasm , the number of positive cases of 27 cases, the positive rate was 62.8% , only one case of positive expression in normal bladder tissues , the positive rate of 10% . CD24 expression in different pathological grade bladder cancer ( P lt ; 0.05 ) G1 , G2 , G3 group of CD24 expression positive rate was 33.3% ( 3/9) , 63.6% ( 13/22 ) , 91.7% (11/12 ) . G3 bladder cancer , the expression of CD24 was significantly higher than the G1 group ( P lt ; 0.005 ) . CD24 protein in invasive bladder cancer ( pT1 to PT4 ) 80.7 % , the positive expression was significantly higher than that of non- invasive cancer, 29.4 % ( PTA ) expression ( p lt ; 0.05 ) Follow-up of 29 cases of 43 cases of bladder cancer patients two years after surgery : recurrence in 12 patients within two years , CD24 positive in the recurrence group 9/12 (75.0%) and non - recurrence group 5/ 17 ( 29.4% ) The expression rate of a significant difference ( p lt ; 0.05 ) . Conclusion CD24 expression in bladder cancer was significantly higher than in normal bladder tissue expression . CD24 high expression of bladder cancer is closely related to differentiation and invasive progress . CD24 expression may be an indicator to determine the prognosis of bladder cancer .
