The primary purpose of this study is to analyze and establish profit patterns which conforms to the development of Hebei Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd.(Hebei Iron & Steel for short), to put forward corresponding concrete scheme and implementation measures, to direct Hebei Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd. to break the development bottleneck, and to promote the development of iron industry in our province. In this paper, the main ways of research are case analysis, comparative analysis, theoretical analysis and application, quantitative and qualitative analysis.First of all, on the basis of reviewing the theories of profit patterns home and abroad, the concept of profit patterns in this paper is defined. The main elements and features are elaborated. Then it introduces the foundation of correlative theories, including the the competition advantage theory and the theory of the business process re-engineering.Secondly, drafting from the analysis of financial status in Hebei Iron & Steel, this paper analyzes the whole operation situation and profit performance, and then summarizes out the the three current profit patterns that are adopted in Hebei Iron & Steel. These patterns are restructuring expansion pattern, dimensions benefit pattern, and integrated value chain pattern. At the same time, the paper also points out the existing problems of its profit patterns. These problems include low integrating benefit, surging cost, less profitable products and week R & D strength.Again, by setting up the index system for evaluating profit patterns of iron and steel companies, the grey related theory was applied to evaluate the profit patterns comprehensively in 8 Listed iron and steel companies, Hebei Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd. Included. With the comparative analysis, the gap and drawbacks in the profit patterns of Hebei Iron & Steel are reviewed. Finally, according to the problems in profit patterns of Hebei Iron & Steel at present, some corresponding countermeasures are advised to adopt, including improving integration efficiency, strengthening management, enhancing products profitability, promoting technological innovation. Then dealing with the formation of the profit pattern, the innovation framework of profit pattern in Hebei Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd is established which conforms to its development and increases company profitability. Then according to this innovation framework, concrete measures of optimizing and innovating its profit patterns are further proposed.
