Objective: To investigate the chronic periodontitis and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease ( CHD) incidence of related mechanisms . Methods: 36 patients underwent coronary bypass surgery and is associated with coronary atherosclerotic plaque in patients with chronic periodontitis and subgingival plaque , 50 cases of patients with chronic periodontitis subgingival plaque using Chelex-100 method extracted bacterial DNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay coronary atherosclerotic plaque and subgingival plaque of Porphyromonas gingivalis extracellular bacteria ( Porphyromonas gingivalis , Pg ) , Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans ( Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans Aa), Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fusobacterium nucleatum, Fn), Prevotella intermedia (Preuotella intermedia, Pi),福赛斯坦纳bacteria (Tannerella forsythensis, Tf) 5 chronic periodontitis related pathogens . Results: 1) five kinds of bacteria in the CHD group (n = 36) in subgingival plaque of positive cases , respectively : Pg39 % , Aa 19 % , Pi 75 % and Fn 25 % , Tf 92 % ; kinds of bacteria in the control group (n = 50) subgingival plaque positive cases were Pg30 Aa8 % , Pi 14 % and Fn 25 % and 85% of Tf ; CHD group , Prevotella intermedia ( Pi) detection rate was significantly higher than that in the control group , the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) ; 2 ) coronary heart disease group (n = 36) and control group (n = 50) , the detection rate of subgingival plaque the highest bacteria are福赛斯坦纳bacteria (Tf) and with the nuclear shuttle bacilli ( Fn ) ; 3 ) 36 patients with coronary heart disease group of patients with coronary artery atherosclerotic plaque , a variety of pathogens of periodontitis seized out rate : Pg36 % , Aa 3 % , Pi 14 % , Fn 25 % Tf47 % ; 4 ) the same in patients with coronary artery atherosclerotic plaque and subgingival plaque at the same time there were five kinds of periodontitis related to the the number of cases of the bacteria : Tf 15 , Pg 13 , Fn5 cases , Pi 3 , Aa0 cases . Conclusions : 1 ) Prevotella intermedia with coronary atherosclerosis there may be some correlation Prevotella intermedia may be a risk factor for coronary atherosclerosis ; 2 )福赛斯坦纳bacteria (Tf) and nuclear - shuttle bacilli (Fn) may occur in coronary heart disease development plays an important role ; 3 ) chronic periodontitis and coronary heart disease may be present correlation of periodontal pathogens in the incidence of coronary heart disease , may play an important role in the development .
