Abstract


Objective: To study the cell cycle regulation factors the of p21 Waf1/Cip1 < / sup> S phase kinase -associated protein 2 (S-phase kinase associated protein 2, Skp2) expression in benign and malignant tumors in salivary gland and clinical significance . Methods : Using immunohistochemistry SABC method detected 10 cases of normal salivary gland tissue , 20 cases of salivary gland benign tumors , 33 patients with salivary gland cancer organizations in of p21 of Waf1/Cip1 and Skp2 expression analysis of p21 correlation between Waf1/Cip1 < / sup> and between Skp2 expression and salivary gland cancer tissue clinical and pathological features of the relationship as well as their expression . : Of p21 Waf1/Cip1 salivary gland tissues and salivary gland expression of benign and malignant descending order between each group , there were significant differences ( the Χ 2 = 11.113 , p = 0.006). Skp2 normal tissue in the salivary gland expression in salivary gland cancer positive expression rate ( 75.76% ) was significantly higher than benign tumors ( 35.00% ) , were ( Χ2 = 19.128 , p = 0.001 ) . no clinical and pathological features of p21 Waf1/Cip1 with salivary gland cancer associated Skp2 expression and lymphatic metastasis ( p lt; 0.05 ) . p21 Waf1/Cip1 Skp2 expression was negatively correlated benign tumor of the salivary gland , but no obvious correlation (r = -0.390, p = 0.089); their expression in the salivary gland cancer There was a significant negative correlation (r = -0.467, p = 0.006). Conclusion: p21 Waf1/Cip1 low expression of Skp2 expression of salivary gland tumors occur , development is closely related . The Skp2 possible by the cut of p21 Waf1/Cip1 < / sup> protein involved in the formation process of the salivary gland tumors .
