Abstract

Objective: hair red rosea (pityriasis rubra pilaris, PRP) is an idiopathic, papules - scaly and inflammatory skin diseases. Typical hyperkeratotic papules PRP in hair follicles fused into a huge red scaly plaques, palmoplantar keratoderma, scalp diffuse bran loquat-like scales, and often develop into desquamative erythroderma. The differential diagnosis includes psoriasis, generalized allergic reaction. Pityriasis red hair disease cause is not yet clear that the main doctrines of the following: (1) genetic factors, vitamin deficiency (2) (3) keratosis disorder (4) endocrine dysfunction (5) other. Previous studies to pay more attention to the the PRP symptoms caused by vitamin A deficiency, and other factors, and the trial of vitamin A treatment is effective. In recent years, studies have suggested that changes of expression of epidermal keratin (keratin) plays a vital role in the disease, the performance of the PRP epidermal hyperproliferative growth significantly faster than normal skin. Which the K1/K10 keratin expression changes are important factors PRP keratosis disorder. In addition, the K17's gradually warming, studies have shown that K17 is induced excessive proliferation of the epidermis. Scholars with Western blot analysis of the three family members PRP patients with a family history of skin keratin 17 expression. However, the epidermal keratin pityriasis rubra pilaris specific expression of the situation at home and abroad has not been reported. In this study, immunohistochemical methods to detect lesions in normal epidermis and hair red pityriasis K1, K5, K10 and K17 expression, to explore the relationship between the occurrence of the above indicators and PRP, and thus provide a theoretical basis for the pathogenesis of PRP . Methods: this experiment, paraffin-embedded 10 normal epidermis and 40 cases of hair red rosea lesional tissue as the object of study, using immunohistochemical SP method detected in normal skin and red hair rosea K1, K5, K10 and K17 expression. K1, K5, K10 and K17 expression results of immunohistochemistry applications HPIAS-1000 high-resolution color pathological the graphic analysis systems, respectively, measured the basal layer of the epidermis K5 and spinous layer and granular layer K1/K10 and K17 coloring positive area, The integral optical density, and the back of the bottom area, the area ratio of the previous two parameters and the back bottom showing the relative content and expression intensity. T-test was used to compare between the two groups, the correlation between the indicators Sperman correlation analysis, application SPSS11.0 statistical software to complete. Results: 1 in 40 cases of PRP in keratin K1 in the basal layer two cases weakly positive expression, I is negative expression; 1 cases in the spinous layer and granular layer weakly positive, 10 cases of positive expression, 29 cases strong positive expression. Positive staining parts mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of keratinocytes. The control group of 10 patients with normal skin weak expression in the basal layer of 1 cases, I was negative; positive expression in the spinous layer and granular layer two cases, eight cases of strong positive expression. PRP patient group lesions at the spinous layer and granular layer of keratin K1 relative content and integrated optical density were enhanced compared with the normal control group showed a significant difference (P lt; 0.05). In 40 cases in PRP keratin K5 weak expression in the basal layer of two cases, 12 cases of positive expression, 26 cases of strong positive expression; six cases weakly positive expression in the spinous layer and granular layer, I was negative . Positive expression sites mainly in the cytoplasm, which the nuclear membrane at 18 cases except cytoplasm also expression. The control group of 10 patients with normal skin weak expression in the basal layer of 1 cases, two cases of positive expression, seven cases of strong positive expression; weak expression in the spinous layer and granular layer, I was negative. Angle of the protein the K5 expression of water in the PRP group lesions in patients at the basal layer
