Abstract


Objective To investigate the vascular endothelial growth factor - C (VEGF - C ) and its receptor VEGFR-3 with gastric cancer progression and clinicopathologic factors . Methods SP immunohistochemical method for the determination of gastric cancer cells in 52 cases of gastric cancer specimens VEGF -C , VEGFR -3 expression . Results of 52 cases , 29 cases of VEGF-C staining positive , the positive rate of 55.8% , positive material in the cytoplasm expression in gastric cancer tissues with lymph node metastasis ( 63.4% ) was higher than that without lymph node metastases (27 - 3%) (P lt; 0.05); expression in poorly differentiated gastric cancer (72.4 %) was significantly higher than high , moderately differentiated gastric cancer ( 34.8 % ) ( P lt; 0.01 ) ; VEGF - C expression with age , regardless of gender ( P gt; 0.05). VEGFR-3 expression mainly in the cytoplasm , VEGF-C expression count positive gastric cancer tissues (36.18 ± 6.50) significantly higher than the negative VEGF-C in gastric carcinoma (16.11 ± 4.14 ) ( P lt ; 0.01 ) ; in Ⅰ Ⅱ gastric organizations in the count (16.11 ± 4.14) was significantly lower than the count III - IV gastric cancer tissues ( 20.85 ± 7.79 ) ( P lt; 0.01 ) ; tumor-infiltrating serosa remember number (21.27 ± 7.64) the serosal layer count is higher than ( 16.95 4.95 ) ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; VEGFR- 3 average count in lymph node metastasis group ( 20.20 ± 7.49 ) was significantly higher than the average count in lymph node metastasis group (16.45 ± 3.36), and between the two there is a significant difference ( P lt; 0.01 ) . Independent of VEGFR-3 count with gender, age, tissue differentiation (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion In this study, immunohistochemical methods Determination of the gastric tissue vascular endothelial growth factor - C (VEGF - C ) expression and its receptor VEGFR-3 in gastric counting . The results showed that the transfer of VEGF - C expression and gastric cancer cells in the lymph nodes and tissue differentiation is closely related ; VEGFR-3 Pro with gastric cancer
