Abstract


The translation is the oldest human cultural exchange activities . Translation can not be separated from the conversion of the language , but it is not only just the language conversion, because language reflects culture , but also by cultural constraints . Therefore, in order to be successful language conversion , not only to master the language , and to be familiar with the culture represented by the two languages ??. Translation Studies is in fact a cultural interaction . Since 1990 , co - edited by Basnet and Andre Lefort Translation, history and culture, \Was the beginning of yet another breakthrough in translation studies . Firstly a brief discussion on the relationship between culture and translation , and then more comprehensive introduction to the study of Chinese and foreign scholars to translate culture steering . And pointed out that the breadth of this study and its profound significance . After that , this paper presents the translated text in the context of the cultural transformation of the cultural interpretation of a study on the impact of cultural factors on the quality of the translated text in both English and Chinese language level . Only do these cultural factors specific classification and comparative studies , to success in the cultural interpretation of the text language conversion , thus avoiding cultural misreading . Finally, a detailed discussion on the strategy of cultural interpretation , according to Newmark's Semantic and Communicative Translation of two translation methods proposed six cultural interpretation , namely: free translation , free translation plus Descriptions Act redundancy delete method, increase the Review Act , footnote law and alternative analogy . The final conclusion of this article : The Cultural Turn in Translation , the process of translation and cultural interpretation are inextricably linked . Cultural Interpretation of the policy only applied to different translators , different socio-cultural specific text in a specific analysis of the translation of the text in order to achieve the best cultural transmission .
