Abstract


As the spirit of a school, school culture is the base of educational success. It comes from the history and tradition of the school, and agglomerates into spiritual kernel. It is the common faith hold by the staff, which dominates their action. The same as the cultural structure, daily reality of is also the key of the school culture. Not only the spiritual concept is important, but also the practical action. Both of these two points decide the power of school culture.Every school has its unique culture, which possess its particular characters and tokens. This study is absolutely attracted by the unique charm of school culture. The case for research is a private school that gives the whole phase of compulsory education—Yuyao Campus School in Zhejiang Province. This article presents the cultural structure systematically and analyses its representation in the daily interaction deeply by the field study includes the statistic and observation on two of the classes in the school. As a successful case, the culture of Campus School has many perspectives that can be considered thoroughly by us. It is known that the spirit core of the school culture is decided by the common vision and basic value, therefore, this article tries to explain what the vision and value of this school is, how it forms and operates, how about it effects actually, and how the teachers and students identify with it and how it is shown in their interaction process.
