Abstract


In this paper, \The article first reviews the research results of the Western economic history of the development of human capital, trying to do a more comprehensive overview of the development of human capital theory; selected papers based on the entry point, combined with the Wuhan regional economic development characteristics, choose representatives The nature of the theoretical model and the relevant economic variables to do metering regression analysis, quantitative analysis of the relationship between investment in human capital and regional economic development. This paper attempts a combination of theoretical analysis and practical research to explore the issues of investment in human capital and regional economic growth, to provide a reference for regional economic development decision-making. Specifically, using econometric regression model to analyze the contribution rate of investment in human capital for economic growth in Wuhan; At the same time, combined with the the Wuhan regional economic development orientation, the establishment of a model: capital and population mobility model, highlighting the human capital migration on the economy growth and rich in human resources was a massive outflow of reasons explain Wuhan; put forward a theory: human capital structure theory, analysis of the causes of economic growth differences from the human capital structure, and use the data to test different cities in human under conditions similar to the average of the capital, whether the differences in economic growth due to the uneven structure of human capital. The article is organized as follows. The introductory part of the problem, for the regional imbalance in the country's economic development and human resource misallocation problem, advocated the adoption of a specific relatively abundant capital, human capital and physical capital combined with better regional study, analysis of investment in human capital relationship with economic growth. The first chapter is to do a comprehensive review of Western human capital theory, research, and commentary theory school perspective, clearly the significance of the Human Capital Research. The second chapter select the relevant representative of the human capital investment model analysis, is mainly education yield model of Lucas (1988) classic model of contribution rate of human capital investment on economic growth and Mincer (1974). The third chapter is to combine the empirical analysis of the economic development of Wuhan. Select the relevant time series data and economic indicators, combined with the economic model of the previous chapter do regression analysis, quantitative analysis of the role of human capital investment on the Wuhan regional economic development. The fourth chapter is put forward policy recommendations to guide the actual economic operation and development.
